I recorded this tutorial to show how to add a favicon (browser icon) to your WordPress site, which adds a small but crucial piece of branding to your site.
A favicon is the tiny image you see in your browser tab — and while it might seem minor, it helps build recognition and polish. In the video, I show:
- Designing or uploading your .ico or .png icon
- Going to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity
- Uploading the favicon under Site Icon
- Saving and clearing your browser cache to preview
- Tools to generate correct dimensions (512×512 recommended)
I recommend creating a favicon version of your logo or monogram — it keeps your brand visible even when people have 20 tabs open.
Have you uploaded a custom favicon yet, or still seeing the WordPress default?
