I made this tutorial to show how to change your Netflix subscription plan — whether you’re upgrading for more screens or saving money by downgrading. Here’s the walkthrough:

Netflix offers several plans — Basic, Standard, and Premium — and you can switch between them anytime. In the video, I show how to make the change on desktop:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Go to Account > Plan Details
  3. Click Change Plan
  4. Choose a new plan and confirm

You’ll either be billed immediately (if upgrading) or the change will apply at the start of your next billing cycle (if downgrading). I also explain which features come with each plan — like resolution, number of devices, and whether ads are included.

I’ve adjusted my plan multiple times depending on whether I’m sharing it or just using it for solo viewing.
