I put together this video to show how to unfollow someone on Facebook without unfriending them, which is great if you want to stay connected but stop seeing their updates in your feed.

This is one of my favorite low-drama ways to clean up the algorithm without causing any awkwardness. In the tutorial, I show:
- Going to the person’s profile
- Clicking the “Friends” button
- Choosing “Unfollow” from the dropdown
You’ll still be friends, and they won’t know you’ve unfollowed them. Their posts just won’t show up in your feed unless you visit their profile directly.
I do this regularly to maintain a focused, positive timeline — especially when I want to avoid political rants, constant promotion, or oversharing.
Have you curated your feed with unfollows, or still seeing everything by default?
