I filmed this video to show how to unblock someone on Instagram, whether it was a temporary decision or a mistake.

Instagram makes it fairly easy to manage your blocked list — but most people forget where to find it. In this tutorial, I walk through:
- Opening the Instagram app
- Going to Settings > Privacy > Blocked accounts
- Finding the person you want to unblock
- Tapping their name and selecting Unblock
I also explain what happens next: the person will be able to see your profile and follow you again (if your account is public), but they won’t automatically be added back as a follower.
I’ve done this a few times after blocking spam accounts that turned out to be legit users.
Do you check your blocked list from time to time, or usually leave it alone?
