I created this video to show how I track progress on my movie lists in Letterboxd, which is super useful for film challenges, decade lists, or just personal viewing goals.

Letterboxd makes it easy to create lists — but what’s even better is how it lets you see your progress as you work through them. Whether you’re watching all the Best Picture winners, Criterion films, or your personal top 100, tracking is built in.

In the video, I show:

  1. Creating or opening a custom list
  2. Viewing watched/unwatched indicators on list entries
  3. Clicking into stats like percentage completed
  4. Sorting by watched date or film popularity
  5. How to use these tools to stay motivated and organized

I’ve used this to finish long lists like the AFI Top 100 and to stay on track with yearly viewing goals.

Are you using Letterboxd just to log films, or are you actively tackling curated lists?
