My opinion on climate crisis: it won’t be solved by politicans and policies, but by science development and technological change.
Most likely tech that is not even widely known and acknowledged yet. And it will probably be a wild idea that 99% of people regard as a joke initially.
Entrepreneurs will force through the changes, the way they always have done through the years.
Politicians and CEOs will agree to anything in the short term because they only have a duty of care to constituents and shareholders for a (mostly) finite, short time.
They can kick the can down the road for their successors to deal with.
