I made this video to show how to share Google Drive files and folders properly, including setting the right permissions and avoiding common mistakes.
Drive is powerful, but it’s easy to accidentally send someone the wrong access or make things public when you didn’t mean to. In the video, I go through:
- Right-clicking any file or folder > Share
- Setting access to Viewer, Commenter, or Editor
- Sharing via email or shareable link
- Restricting access or removing people
- Adjusting domain-wide settings for organizations or teams
I also explain the difference between folder-level vs. file-level sharing, and how to troubleshoot when someone says “request access.”
Are you using Google Drive for client delivery, collaboration, or internal storage?
