I created a quick video guide to show how to share a YouTube playlist with just a few clicks. Here’s the link:
YouTube playlists are a great way to organize videos — whether it’s tutorials, vlogs, reviews, or anything else. But what good is a curated playlist if no one else can find it? That’s where sharing comes in.
In the video, I walk through the steps on both desktop and mobile. First, go to your YouTube Studio or the playlist page itself. You’ll see a “Share” button — usually a small arrow or the classic three-dot menu next to the playlist title.
Click that, and YouTube gives you a unique link that you can copy and paste anywhere — social media, email, your website, or even in another YouTube video description.
I also show how to change the privacy settings. You’ll want your playlist set to Public (or Unlisted if you only want to share it with specific people). If it’s set to Private, even with the link, others won’t be able to access it.
Sharing playlists is especially helpful for creators, educators, or businesses. You can send a complete learning path, a portfolio, or a resource list in one link. It saves viewers the trouble of digging through your channel to find related content.
In the video, I also cover embedding playlists into websites or blogs — which is super useful if you want to present your content more professionally outside of YouTube.
Personally, I use playlists to group related tutorials and then share them with new subscribers or students. It keeps everything neat and digestible.
Have you ever shared one of your playlists before? Or do you mostly use them for personal organization?
