I made this video to demonstrate how to bookmark tweets on X (Twitter) — a surprisingly underused feature that makes saving and organizing posts easier than ever.
Scrolling through Twitter, it’s easy to find a goldmine of content — tips, tools, threads, memes, tutorials. But if you don’t save them properly, they vanish forever in the algorithmic noise. Bookmarks fix that.
Step 1: Find the tweet you want to save
This could be a thread, a single tweet, or even a reply. You don’t need to retweet or like it to keep track of it.
Step 2: Click the “Share” icon
In the bottom-right of the tweet, tap the share button (an arrow pointing up from a tray). Then select “Bookmark.”
Now that tweet is saved — privately — in your Bookmarks section. No one else sees it.
Step 3: Access your bookmarks
On mobile: tap your profile picture, scroll to Bookmarks
On desktop: Click More > Bookmarks
This area becomes your personal content vault — I use it to save:
- Threads I want to turn into blog posts
- Tools I want to test later
- Interesting stats or market data
- Tweets with high-performing layouts or copywriting angles
Step 4: Clean up or archive later
You can’t currently organize bookmarks into folders natively (hopefully coming soon), but I recommend clearing out old ones monthly. Just tap the “Share” icon again and choose Remove Bookmark.
Bonus: Combine with Notion or Google Docs
Once a week, I go through my bookmarks and paste the best ones into my swipe file in Notion. That way, I’m building a resource library over time — not just hoarding tweets.
Are you bookmarking tweets regularly or still relying on likes and DMs to save stuff?
