I recorded this video to show how to delete your Facebook profile picture — useful if you want to remove it altogether and not replace it with a new one.

Sometimes you just want to go minimal — no photo, no logo, just a blank placeholder. Facebook doesn’t make this as obvious as it should, but the process is simple.
In the tutorial, I walk through:
- Going to your profile page
- Clicking on your current profile picture
- Selecting “View Profile Picture”
- Clicking the three dots > Delete photo
Once deleted, your profile will revert to the default grey silhouette. I also explain how this doesn’t affect your cover photo or tagged images — just the main display picture.
This is something I’ve done occasionally on niche pages or personal profiles I want to dial back or keep private.
Do you tend to use a photo, a logo, or prefer keeping it blank?
