I created this video to show how to delete a site from Bing Webmaster Tools — whether you’re cleaning up old projects, removing duplicates, or just keeping your dashboard tidy.
If you manage multiple websites or have previously verified test domains, it’s important to keep your webmaster tools dashboard organized. Removing unused sites helps prevent data clutter and confusion when reviewing performance.
In the video, I walk you through:
- Logging into Bing Webmaster Tools
- Selecting the site you want to remove
- Clicking the gear icon or “Settings”
- Scrolling to “Remove site from Webmaster Tools”
- Confirming the deletion
It only takes a few clicks, but you need to be absolutely sure — once a site is deleted, you’ll lose access to its data in Bing’s interface. You can always re-verify the property later if needed.
I also explain what happens to indexing: deleting a site from Bing Webmaster Tools doesn’t remove it from Bing’s index — it just disconnects your access to performance data and management tools.
Have you cleaned up your Bing dashboard recently?
