I filmed this video to help anyone struggling to delete a blank or unwanted page in Google Docs — something that can be surprisingly frustrating. Watch the walkthrough here:
If you’ve ever been typing away and ended up with a mysterious extra page you can’t get rid of, you’re not alone. Google Docs can be a little stubborn when it comes to layout spacing and page breaks.
In the video, I show three methods to fix it:
- Highlight and delete blank space at the end of your content
- Remove page breaks (check if you accidentally inserted one under Insert > Break)
- Adjust line spacing or margin settings, which can sometimes push your content onto a new page unintentionally
I also walk through how to check for invisible formatting issues — like paragraph spacing or tables that don’t seem obvious.
This fix has helped me tons, especially when formatting longer blog posts, proposals, or lead magnets in Docs. No more weird blank pages when you go to export a PDF!
Have you run into this issue before in Docs?
