I created this video to walk you through how to add nominated lists to your Letterboxd profile, which is a great way to track awards, challenges, and curated film sets.

Letterboxd lists aren’t just for watchlists — they’re a great tool for organizing films around themes, collections, or awards. Nominated lists specifically let you track things like Oscars, Cannes selections, or your own personal “best of” awards.

In the video, I show:

  1. How to create a new list from your profile
  2. Naming it clearly (e.g. “Best Picture Nominees 2020s”)
  3. Adding films using the search function or your diary
  4. Writing a brief description or context
  5. Sharing it publicly or keeping it private for your own records

I also talk about how I use these lists to prep for film festivals or awards season. They’re an underrated way to stay focused on high-quality viewing goals.

Do you currently use Letterboxd lists for fun, or more as serious tracking tools?
