I created this video to explain how to track and view your activity on Letterboxd, including logs, likes, follows, and more — a great way to see your film journey over time.
If you’ve been logging movies on Letterboxd for a while, it’s easy to forget just how much data you’ve accumulated. The Activity tab is where all of that comes together — giving you a snapshot of how active you’ve been, who’s interacting with your content, and what you’ve been watching lately.
In the video, I start by opening the “Activity” tab from the profile dropdown. From there, you’ll see:
- Your most recent logged films and ratings
- Who followed you recently
- Who liked or commented on your reviews
- Films you’ve liked, added to lists, or reviewed
- A rolling timeline of all your interactions on the platform
This is super helpful if you’re trying to build your presence or just reflect on your viewing habits. I also show how to filter your own diary entries by year, which makes it easier to track goals (like watching 100 new films in a year).
One feature I point out is the ability to view activity from people you follow. This helps you discover films through trusted voices — much better than relying solely on the front page or trending lists.
If you’re using Letterboxd socially (commenting, liking, sharing lists), then this activity feed can become your dashboard. And if you’re more of a private user, it’s still a great record to look back on at the end of the year.
Are you checking your activity on Letterboxd regularly, or just logging and leaving?
