I created this tutorial to help you generate your LinkedIn API key, which is often needed for integrations like apps, dashboards, or third-party services.

If you’re building tools or automating LinkedIn actions, you’ll need developer access. In the video, I walk through:
- Visiting LinkedIn Developer Portal
- Creating a new App
- Filling out basic app details — name, company, privacy policy
- Generating your Client ID and Client Secret
- Setting the correct OAuth redirect URLs
Once done, you’ll have access to LinkedIn’s API documentation and your app credentials. I also touch on applying for marketing developer permissions if you need more advanced data access.
Even if you’re not a developer, this is useful for connecting LinkedIn to certain analytics or automation tools.
Are you integrating LinkedIn into a tool or just exploring the possibilities?
