I made this video to show how to add tables in Canva — even though there isn’t a built-in table feature like in Word or Google Docs. Here’s how to do it:
There are two easy ways to get a table into your Canva design:
Option 1: Use Canva’s Grids
- Go to Elements > Grids
- Choose a multi-cell grid and insert it into your page
- Adjust each cell manually with color, text, and alignment
Option 2: Use Lines and Boxes
- Create a rectangle or line
- Duplicate it to form rows and columns
- Group everything to keep it aligned
In the video, I demonstrate both methods and give tips on making tables look professional — like adding alternating row colors or light shading for headers.
This is great for planners, infographics, schedules, and social media content. I’ve even created mini calendars and pricing tables using this method.
