Lately, I’m noticing that a lot of items aren’t shipping right away like normal. I guess this is to do with Amazon’s new policy of just sending out the essential items right now.

In fact, last month and this month, I’m seeing a HUGE amount of Ordered Items vs Shipped Items. Lots of items not being shipped yet. Anyone else noticing this?

From what I understand, we only get the commission credited when the item actually ships. So couple questions and things I’ve been thinking about:

– Will the cookie / credit for sale of item run out by the time Amazon (or the seller) actually ship the item? What’s the halflife on that?

– What about the recently announced commission drops – if the item isn’t credited before that goes into affect, will we be only given the new commission rate or the rate that it was at when the item actually sold?
