If you’ve ever saved a video to watch later and then completely forgotten where it went, you’re not alone. YouTube’s “Save” feature is fantastic for keeping track of tutorials, reviews, or music videos — but the platform doesn’t always make it obvious how to access them. In this quick guide, I’ll show you exactly how to find your saved videos on YouTube in just a few clicks.
YouTube lets you save videos in two main ways — adding them to Watch Later or custom playlists. Here’s how to locate both easily.
1. Log In to Your YouTube Account
Head to youtube.com and make sure you’re signed in.
2. Go to the Sidebar Menu
Click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top-left corner if the sidebar isn’t already visible.
3. Click “Watch Later”
You’ll see a section called Library — under that, click Watch Later. This playlist automatically stores every video you’ve saved for future viewing.
4. Access Saved Playlists
If you’ve organized videos into your own custom playlists, scroll further down the sidebar. You’ll see all your playlists listed there. Click any one to view your saved videos within it.
5. Use the YouTube App (Mobile)
Open the app, tap Library, then Watch Later. The interface is similar and updates in real time with your desktop account.
6. Manage or Remove Videos
If your Watch Later list gets long, click the three-dot icon next to any video to remove it once you’ve watched it.
Pro Tips:
-
You can rearrange videos in your Watch Later list by dragging them manually.
-
To save time, use the “Save” button directly under any video you want to revisit.
-
Watch Later syncs across all devices, so you can start on desktop and finish on mobile.
Keeping track of your saved videos helps you build a personal library of inspiration, tutorials, and entertainment. With a few clicks, you’ll always know exactly where your favorite content lives — no endless scrolling required.
