Here’s a quick video I made to show how to cancel Spotify Premium — whether you’re switching platforms or just taking a break from the monthly cost:

Spotify makes cancellation pretty easy — but only if you know where to look. You can’t cancel Premium from the app — you have to use a web browser.

In the tutorial, I show how to:

  1. Visit spotify.com/account
  2. Log in and go to Your Plan
  3. Click Change Plan
  4. Scroll down and select Cancel Premium

Once you confirm, your account will revert to the free version at the end of your billing cycle. You won’t lose playlists or saved music — you’ll just have ads and limited skips.

I also mention that if you signed up through Apple or Google Play, you may need to cancel through those platforms instead.
