I filmed this video to show how to clear your Spotify queue, which is handy when you’ve accidentally lined up a bunch of tracks or want to reset your listening session.

Your Spotify queue is like a temporary playlist, and it can build up quickly — especially when you’re adding songs mid-play or using shared devices.
In the video, I show:
On mobile:
- Open the Now Playing screen
- Tap the queue icon (bottom-right)
- Select tracks and tap Remove
On desktop:
- Click the queue icon (bottom-right)
- Right-click and choose Remove from Queue or clear them all
I also share tips on using the “Play Next” feature without overwhelming your queue, and how to avoid confusion between liked songs and queued tracks.
This is a must-know trick for anyone who shares an account or plays music during events or work sessions.
Do you build playlists in advance or mostly queue on the fly?
