I filmed this video to show how to quickly delete a tweet on Twitter (now X) — perfect for fixing mistakes or just cleaning up old content.

Whether it’s a typo, a broken link, or something you’ve changed your mind about, deleting a tweet only takes a few clicks.

In the video, I show:

  1. Opening Twitter and going to your Profile
  2. Finding the tweet you want to remove
  3. Clicking the three dots on the tweet > Delete > Confirm

I also explain that deleted tweets disappear from your feed instantly, but they may still be cached elsewhere temporarily (like search engines or screenshots).

I regularly delete tweets from old campaigns or repost them with better formatting.

Do you tidy up your Twitter feed regularly or let it all live forever?
