I put together this video to show how to quickly create and share a payment link using Stripe, no coding required.
If you sell anything online — a coaching session, a downloadable product, a workshop — you don’t need a full e-commerce store to collect payments. With Stripe Payment Links, you can generate a clean checkout page in seconds.
It’s one of the easiest ways to accept payments without a full site or complicated funnel setup.
Step 1: Log into your Stripe dashboard
Head over to dashboard.stripe.com and make sure you’ve set up:
-
A verified Stripe account
-
At least one product in your account
If you haven’t added a product yet, click “Products” in the sidebar and set one up. Include:
-
Product name
-
Description
-
Price (one-time or recurring)
-
Optional image or custom fields
In the video, I show exactly how I’ve set up digital products, coaching packages, and one-time offers using Stripe’s product editor.
Step 2: Create the payment link
Once your product is ready:
-
Go to Payment Links in the dashboard
-
Click “Create Payment Link”
-
Choose your product
-
Select checkout options (e.g., allow promo codes, collect customer addresses, limit quantity, etc.)
Then click “Create link.”
Stripe will give you a direct URL to your new checkout page — mobile-friendly, SSL-secure, and fast-loading.
Step 3: Share your link
You can use this link:
-
In a sales email
-
On a landing page
-
Inside a chat or DM
-
On your social media bio
-
Embedded behind a CTA button
No custom domain needed (though you can connect one), no code required, and no separate cart software.
Bonus features
Stripe also lets you:
-
Add custom branding (logo, colors, etc.) to your checkout
-
Set up webhooks if you want to connect purchases to Kajabi, ConvertKit, or your own backend
-
Collect shipping addresses if selling physical goods
-
Offer recurring payments or subscriptions
It’s incredibly flexible without needing plugins or platforms like WooCommerce or Shopify — perfect for lean digital products or services.
Final thoughts
Stripe Payment Links are my go-to for fast, frictionless payments. Whether you’re launching a one-product funnel, testing an idea, or just want a quick way to sell something without tech headaches, this feature delivers.
Are you making it easy for customers to pay — or sending them through hoops and broken links?
