This video shows you how to clear the cache in Google Chrome — one of the simplest fixes for browser issues. Watch it here:

Clearing your browser cache can resolve slow load times, layout bugs, or stale versions of websites. It’s also a good habit if you’re working on web development or switching between multiple accounts.

In the video, I show you the fast method:

  1. Press Cmd + Shift + Delete on Mac or Ctrl + Shift + Delete on Windows.
  2. This opens the Clear Browsing Data window.
  3. Choose Cached images and files, select the time range (e.g., “All time”), and hit Clear data.

You can also access this manually through Chrome’s Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.

The video also explains what clearing the cache does not do — it doesn’t delete your passwords, bookmarks, or saved logins (unless you select those boxes too).

I’ve cleared the cache many times after websites refused to update or acted glitchy, especially when dealing with plugins, WordPress, or content management systems.

When was the last time you cleared your cache? If it’s been a while, this might be your sign.
