I made this video to help you change your Spotify country or region — which can be useful if you’re moving, traveling long-term, or accessing local content. Watch it here:

Spotify ties your account region to your current IP address and payment method. If you move to another country, you’ll need to update this manually to access that country’s version of Spotify — including some region-specific playlists and pricing.

Here’s how to change your region:

  1. Log in at spotify.com/account
  2. Click Edit Profile
  3. Under Country or Region, select the correct country
  4. Save changes

I explain how this only works once Spotify detects you’re actually in that country — so you’ll need to be on a local IP.
