If I were a negative person, I might say that the anti-intellectualism, anti-science, anti-success movement is the biggest potential harbinger of doom for society.
Although I very much disagree with the doom thesis.
We see it with people attacking Elon Musk. We see it with people attacking Bill Gates. And many others. Stupid people want to tear these iconoclasts down.
They have no skin in the game so they flail about and swipe at those more successful than them. People who are doing real things to further real progress.

Arguably doing more to better life on earth for humanity than any other human being to ever live.
You then hop on the internet only to find a million scientifically illiterate fucking imbeciles that are using the very computers you pretty much invented in the first place to call you a child-murdering arch villain antichrist, microchipping people because they watched a YouTube video made by some other yokel with the comprehension of a fucking potato
